I know this probably looks like a heavy manipulation, but it's really not. Simply two photos (one normal exposure, one under-exposed) layered on top of eachother, and selectively applied via a layer mask in Photoshop CS2. I've practically stopped dodging/burning my photos for the most part..it's amazing how well multiple exposures (HDR, but I do it manually) can work I think.. Anyway - also a light photo filter applied ontop of the two photos on multiply.
Gotta love the old cars..so much personality. Today's all look like fucking copies of eachother!!
One of these days I will get around to posting another .psd of one of these incase anyone is curious..
I manage, surprisingly, a good amount of range in my shots from my d200. I just dodge and burn via a bunch of curves layers, seeing as I don't often have the time to set up on a tripod and do hdr stuff. to each his own of course. beautiful shot, love the clarity on this.
I'm curious about how you do the manual HDRI... Because i can't figure how to the HDRI with more than 2 layers... I know how to do it with 2 layers, but no with nine for example... I don't know how I have to blend them...
The photo loooks grat and the angle is very nice too... I Wish a frame
That is really cool, i did't even know that you can put two different pics over each other and get such a nice outcome, great work! and were do you find all the cool cars
