I love the color on this. Enough variation to keep it from being nothing, but close together enough to give me a sense of the desert-based geography.

They're still alive. They're just waiting there for someone to restore them so they can drive again. The worst part is they very likely never will be.

Without the badges how can you tell it from a 1950 Dodge?

Fargos are Canadian Market trucks, it would be rare to see on in New Mexico I would think.

I don't quite understand your question x3
It's a Dodge Fargo, is it not? x3

Fargo is actually seperate from Dodge, that would be like saying a Chevrolet Cadillac, or a Ford Lincoln, not incorrect because that is the parent company, but not the way it is catagorized... But I was wondering how you could tell specifically it was a Fargo and not a Dodge when the badges identifying it are missing this photo?

I know someone who owns one, well. Kind of. There's pictures of it in my gallery. And I know for a fact, that it is a Dodge Fargo.

It has to be one or the other, not both is what I am saying (as in it can't be called 2 seperate model names), Fargo was independantly sold alongside Dodge, like Plymouth and DeSoto were.

So with a truck like this one in the photo, without the badges it's not distinguisable as specifically a Dodge or a Fargo, but it could be either one, just not both.

In real life I own 2 52 Dodges like this one, and 1 52 Fargo, great trucks in my opinion! [link] I also own a ratty looking 46 Fargo [link]

Well, like I said, the owner insisted it was a Dodge Fargo, so that kinda go it in my head.
Also, on Cardomain.com, under Dodge, theres a 'Fargo' make, that just added to it. But I'll keep that in mind.

Cardomain is not well set up, I had to put my bus in as a Ford F series when it's too old to be an F series, and my Mercury LN7 had to go under Lynx, and people always call it a Lyncx now when it's not... and my 31 Pontiac is under Chieftan when it's not... they have a suggestion form to fix the catagories but they have not changed or added one in all the years I have been there.

I adore how you captured this.
The clouds in the sky make a lovly texture to this photo. I like how they swerl and how they just make this photo look very artistic. The broken down rusty old trucks make this photo feel almost old. The mood I feel when I look at this photo is actually refreshed becuase this photo looks like it was taken in the country and the country reminds me of freedom. The setting is very good and the capture was just right.
Very terrific photo!
