woop woop,
The perspective on this is mad, the horizontal panaramic style works on leading your eye into the photo.
The grain brings a real strong depth out of the photo and adds the aspect of texture to the image.

V.good job

It seems slightly crooked . . . which I'm not a fan of for this shot . . . but I love the colors and textures (especially those on the floor).

I hate saying this, but I have to...

There's very little art that i love without knowing why... this is one of them. I love it.

do you have a fisheye or something?
or is it just a bunch stitched?

ya know my dad spent some of his adult life in auston tx. are there lots of unused appartments and warehouses and such?
Reply
:iconer0k:
er0k Featured By Owner Oct 25, 2005
wouldn't say as much for the apartments..but most definetly for the warehouses and such. so many old, abandoned places of industry around here (mostly on the outskirts, anything towards downtown has been pushed aside and rebuilt new ontop of it because of the property value)..but yea man, like 15-20 miles+ outside of that..when you get more rural they start popping up!! :)

that's cool about your dad spending some of his time here, for work or what? (ya got me curious now heh) you ever lived around here?

Beautiful use of lines, and symetry. I really dig the tones and colours. Where was this taken?

you have to be willing to search them out I think. rarely do things just fall into one's lap without manifesting them into your life in some way :)

Wow~! how do you get the colors to be like that? Messing with levels?

Anyway.. Great shot. I like how there's a bit of distortion and the excellent focus & image quality.

it just really depends on the image, as far as the colors. I let it take me where it wants to go :P

..but yes technicaly it's just done through adjustments with hue, color balance and levels :)
