I can safely say without any sort of doubt, that this took me the longest to complete of anything i've ever done art wise on the computer. Time going out to shoot this downtown in Austin, finding the right sky, getting different angles of the church, versions, etc. to match what I had in my mind, and then at least about 5.5 hours straight touching up in PS (my computer is quite outdated and slow), meshing and re-adjusting in Panorama Factory, editing out 4 lens flares from each image, adjusting colors, selective dodging & burning all the details, fucking everything! (there is even a title on the sign where I replaced the churches text with some of my own )
Anyway, I really think it turned out well though? I will be taking a much needed break for a while now, but am glad to have completed something like this to leave on
(ps, print will be up soon if you're so inclined heh)

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
